We have just launched our first app… Hot Potato Classic! It turns your iPhone or iPod Touch into the classic game you loved as a kid. Here’s a link to Hot Potato Classic at the iTunes Store.

Hot Potato Classic, designed for kids and kids-at-heart, is surprisingly addicting. It has two modes, for play by yourself or with a group of friends:
Bored by yourself while in class, in line, or on the bus? Choose 1 Player and pass the Hot Potato around a circle of virtual opponents on your screen. Uses the accelerometer, so when the Hot Potato comes to you, tap it or shake it to get rid of the potato before it burns! When the music stops after a random amount of time, whoever is stuck holding the Hot Potato loses.
It’s also a multi-player party game. If you’re with a group of friends, sit in a circle and select the number of players. Then pass your iPhone or iPod Touch like a Hot Potato. When the music stops and the buzzer rings, the person holding it is out! Keep playing until there’s only one person left: the winner!
For those over 21, Hot Potato Classic makes an excellent drinking game. Whoever is stuck with the potato when the buzzer sounds has to knock one back!
Great for parties, at school or the office, on a flight, or to play with the family. Control your play by choosing from four different types of intense, nail-biting music.
The makers of Hot Potato Classic strongly suggest you keep a case on your device when playing multi-player Hot Potato Classic. This version of the game is safe as long as people PASS the Hot Potato and don’t throw it.
