Real SMS now has an optional Reply-to-Phone feature, making it useful for iPhone owners as well.

Send and receive standard SMS messages with your iPod Touch to any kind of mobile phone, from anywhere with a wifi connection. The required SMSGlobal account has no fees, supports nearly 400 carriers in 140 different countries, and your credits never expire.
The recipient does not need a smartphone or any kind of software or IM client, and there is no need to know the name of their carrier.
You receive SMS responses via email – immediately, if you subscribe to a push-email service such as MobileMe, Gmail or Yahoo. You can also optionally choose to receive replies on your phone, if you have one.
