Zuinq is an Iphone interface to a database of geo-referenced sites (these sites are the most varied, from restaurants, ATM, metro stations, bus stops, supermarkets, libraries, shops, monuments, gas stations and basically any concept you can imagine) with collaborative or social functions.

Its database is always growing, not just by the work of the authors of the tool, but thanks to the Zuinq users community itself, who may always add a new point of interest from anywhere in the world, and share their opinions about any existing place. Therefore Zuinq service is not static, it´s constantly evolving, increasingly providing information to its user community, so that you can find in Zuinq places you couldn’t find in any other tool.

Though just georeferencing of these points (and their location not only through the map, but through searching by categories, groups and name) can be relevant and make this tool a very useful one, even more interesting is the association of alphanumeric information on each point of interest: description, punctuation, remarks, address, the distance that is, write an e-mail, access their website or phone.

Catalista for iPhone and iPod Touch helps individuals find real-time, local opportunities on their mobile phones — so no matter where people are, they can always be connected to volunteering opportunities happening that day, weekend, or month near them.  They can invite their friends on Facebook to volunteer, keep track of their impact, and rate their volunteering experience once they’ve done their good deed.  Volunteers can choose from over 200,000 opportunities from across the United States.

Tap4Help is a newly announced service from Infofission to help iPhone application developers communicate with their customers more effectively.

The Tap4Help service provides customers a more fluid support experience and allows developers to more effectively develop and maintain relationships with their customers. The Tap4Help service allows developers to provide the following functionality directly from their application:

• Browsable Frequently Asked Questions implemented in native code.
• Submission and tracking of support/feedback requests.
• Link to demonstration or promotion video on YouTube and have it display in the on-device YouTube application.
• Link the user directly to the application’s review page in the mobile App Store to make it easier for satisfied users to post positive reviews.
