IBCard was release today after a long revision period by Apple. The version 1.0 of the application is already available for download according to the developer: Reemberto Jesus Parada, and a new update is already almost completed and will be released within few weeks.

Many users have been in touch with me, said Reemby as he is called, and the new update that will be available in few weeks, will have even more exciting features.

Reemberto has also included a lite version of the application that have all the same feature as the full version one, with the exception that it only allow one business card for one business, while the full featured version allow you to create multiple business card, if you own multiple business.

We are currently working on release 2.0 of the iBCard, wich will be available in few weeks after this release. This new update will have many new updates and features not available in the first release that will make the application even a stronger tool for business, We are also working in providing a Coverflow style business card browsing for the users.

We know that when you use, iBCard you will not want to use any other application, iBCard has the look and feels of a true native iPhone Application and a real Business Card,  with  no buttons overfilled screens like some of the other free applications have.

iBCard also allows users to create business cards that can display and be exchanged as regular business cards without the need of having actual stock business cards in their possession. In addition to be able to share the complete business card including the card graphics with other users, the application allows to send VCF via email, VCF sent contains a VCF file attachment and the complete contact information in text format included in the body of the email for those recipients that cannot import VCF files but can copy and paste the contact information without re-typing it.

Fix It – Fix Labels & Find/Delete/restore Duplicates in your Contacts!

WHAT IT DOES:
Fix-It will help you clean up, re-organize and sort out all your contacts in a few clicks.

Fix-It has 3 main functions:

1. Fix Labels :: View, edit and re-organize labels for each contact.

Each of your contacts will be shown in a cell (first name, last name, company).
Tap on a cell to zoom in. You will have the following options: a) edit the labels by tapping on them; b) drag the labels up and down to switch position.

2. Fix Duplicates :: Find/Delete/Restore Duplicates (phone no. or email). Decide if you prefer to keep the duplicate, delete it or trash the entire contact that generates the duplicate.

Any duplicate you may have (phone no. or email) will be shown here in connected cells. You will have the following options: a) tap on a duplicate to edit it; b) delete just the duplicate; c) trash entire contact; d) view more info and details about the selected contact.

3. Empty Trash :: Contacts trashed while using fix Duplicates will be moved to the Trash until you decide to either delete them permanently or restore them.

Here you will be shown all the contacts  sent to the Trash (while using Fix Duplicates). You will have the following options: a) permanently delete the selected contact; b) view more info and details about the selected contact; c) restore the selected contact; d) permanently delete all the contacts listed in the trash.

4. Restore Deleted Duplicates/Contacts :: Fix-It will always ask you to confirm before deleting any duplicate/contact.
Anyway, to further protect your data, we have introduced an ULTIMATE SECURITY MEASURE which will restore all the duplicates/contacts deleted since Fix-It was first installed.

Have you heard of the new app called Add Contact Wizard?  It helps overcome the slowness of adding contacts with the native iPhone contact app.  I just released an updated version.  Unlike many other “quick add” apps, Add Contact Wizard has ALL the important details without slowing you down.

This is NOT a full-featured contact manager.  It’s not designed to edit contacts or groups.  There are excellent apps like Groups or ABContacts for those features.  Add Contact Wizard is designed to get contacts into your phone FAST!

We’re pleased to announce that the first OCR (Optical Character Recognition) app for the iPhone, Snabiz is now live in the App Store.

It took over 3 months for us to get it submitted (in the meantime we improved graphics and did some more finetuning), but it’s finally there. With Snabiz, you can take pictures of anything which contains text, and convert that into new or existing Contacts.

We really hope you enjoy Snabiz as much as we do – we’ve put a lot of thought and effort into it. Please let us know what you think and give us suggestions for new features.

Please note that if you want to take sharp (and usefull!) pictures of businesscards, you do need a special lens in front as the iPhone is currently not capable of taking sharp pictures with its own lens. We suggest the Clarify from Griffin Technology.

GroupHug allows you to harness the full power of contacts groups on the iPhone and iPod Touch. The address book in the Contacts app on these devices supports groups, but there is no way to add or remove group members, or create or edit groups from the portable device.
