iTronixPal – The Electronics Box App

iTronixPal version 2.2 has just been released today by an independent iphone developer, Emir Samsuddin. The app has grown a lot since the first version and so far sports 16 unique tools and calculators created based on the developer’s own experience in electronics industry for more than 7 years in a renowned electronics giant.

In the latest version, iTronixPal has been added with 1 new tool – a decimal calculator which is useful to calculate between different units of component values. Also added are 3 more calculators – 555 Timer Astable mode, 555 Timer Monostable mode, and an 8bit A2D Port Voltage Level Calculator.

Ohm’s Best: Engineer’s Best Friend

Introducing iTronixPal, probably the best electronics iPhone app available in App Store. This app is created exclusively for the iPhone and iPod Touch platform utilizing the famous touch interface. iTronixPal was crafted specifically for electronics enthusiasts by an electronics enthusiast! That’s right, the developer is an avid fan of electronics – with experience of more than 7 years in the development of electronics products from an well known international electronics giant.

What makes this app to be so unique is the functions and calculators it provides – they are all based on the daily job of an electronics designer/engineer. This app also makes solving daily electronics problem on site, easier – since all you need is right in the palm of your hand. You can get results even without internet connection. All functions are fully built inside this app.

While this app is created for eletronics designer/engineer, DIY-ers and students will also find this very useful. The list of features is as follows:

* 4,5,6-band resistor color codes translation from value entered and vice versa.
* For the 4-band tool, it also displays equivalent value of Ceramic Capacitors, Electrolytic Capacitors, Inductors and chip resistors. Also available a tool to translate Electrolytic capacitor’s voltage rating codes.
* Ability to detect if the resistor value chosen is of EIA Standards or not.
