Nothing like a party where everyone is, perhaps mildly intoxicated, singing along with those golden oldies. Just don’t be the guy or gal who is awkwardly humming along! Lyrics can also provide a deeper insight into your favorite songs, inspiring texts are meant to move you!

The iPhone application features over 700.000 lyrics in cooperation with the LyricWiki.org database. The application also features a pretty cute Japanese guy (they love karaoke), and because Apple requested it, a profanity-filter… there is a hidden easter-egg to turn it off

The Lyrics application was originally submitted to Apple in January. Unfortunately it took Apple a total of 5 months to approve the application, and only after we implemented a very strict filter to block obscenities.
