RhymeBook is a text editor designed for poets and songwriters. If you have a great idea for a lyric or poem while you’re on the go, just jot it down in RhymeBook. RhymeBook has built-in access to RhymeZone.com (an online rhyming dictionary), so when you’re stuck, you can quickly find the perfect rhyme without switching to Safari.

I wrote this app for myself, and I use it regularly, so I’m always thinking of new features that will help with the writing process. I’m open to feedback and suggestions.

Some of the new features since 1.0:
- Passcode Protection (turn it on in the Settings app)
- Swipe to Delete
- Entry ratings
- Landscape keyboard support

Rhymes of Love

AiMusic, LLC is pleased to announce the release of Perfect Rhyme 1.0, the rhyming dictionary for the iPhone and iPod touch, available now on the App Store.

Perfect Rhymeâ„¢ is an American English rhyming dictionary that delivers “perfect rhymes” — the kind of rhyme that songwriters and poets usually try to find if possible.

A perfect rhyme is made by two words that share the same stressed vowels and ending sounds, such as the pair “sing” and “wing.” An example of an imperfect rhyme is “wing” and “caring”.

To use, simply start typing in the word you want to rhyme. Once you have typed enough letters and you see the word in the list, simply select the word. The rhymes will appear, unless you select a word like “orange”, of course! Browse the rhymes alphabetically, or skip to words of a particular number of syllables.

Key Features:

  • 130,000+ entries
  • Includes common acronyms, names, plural forms
  • Multiple pronunciations provided, as in Perfect and Perfect(2)
  • Ideal for songwriters, rappers
  • No user configuration required
  • Quick search for words — no need to type in the whole word
  • Scrolling list for easy browsing of rhymes
  • Browse by number of syllables
  • Smart capitalization of words for maximum readability

Brought to you by AiMusic, LLC, a company specializing in creativity support tools for musicians.
